  • Financial Information: If you purchase a paid subscription, our third-party payment processors collect your billing details. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Support Data: Information you provide when you contact our support team, report a bug, or participate in surveys.

1.2 Usage, Technical, and Tracking Data

When you interact with Orbit, we automatically collect certain technical information:

  • Log Data: IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, and timestamps.
  • Analytics & Interaction Data: Mouse movements, clicks, keystrokes, and feature usage within the Orbit interface to help us improve the UX.
  • Cookies & Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Services.

1.3 User Content and AI Prompts

  • Natural-language prompts, context files, error logs, and instructions submitted to Orbit.
  • Generated code, infrastructure configurations, and UI/UX outputs.
  • Sandbox telemetry (e.g., build times, crash reports within the browser environment).

1.4 Third-Party Integrations (OAuth)

If you link your Orbit account with third-party services (e.g., GitHub, Supabase, Vercel), we may receive information from those services based on their privacy policies and the permissions you grant us.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Service Provision: To provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Orbit platform.
  • Processing Prompts: To send your prompts and codebase context to underlying AI models to generate applications.
  • Personalization: To remember your preferences, Design System Locks, and Visual Personas.
  • Communication: To send you technical notices, security alerts, billing invoices, and administrative messages.
  • Analytics and R&D: To analyze trends, monitor usage, and develop new features for the Orbit platform.
  • Compliance: To enforce our Terms and Conditions, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Model Training and Intellectual Property

Your proprietary data remains yours. Forion Systems operates under strict data handling guidelines regarding AI:

  • No Unauthorized Training: We do not use your private codebase, proprietary logic, or sensitive data submitted through Orbit to train, retrain, or improve our foundational AI models without your explicit, opt-in consent.
  • Third-Party LLMs: Prompts and necessary context are transmitted to our enterprise LLM partners (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic). We operate under zero-data-retention agreements with these providers where applicable.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We only share your information in the following edge cases:

  • Service Providers: With trusted vendors (cloud hosting, database providers, payment processors, LLM APIs) who require access to perform their work for us.
  • Business Transfers: If Forion Systems undergoes a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as a business asset.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or court order.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy:

  • Account Data: Retained until you delete your account.
  • Sandbox Data: Temporary session data and generated sandboxes may be routinely purged based on your subscription tier.

6. International Data Transfers

Forion Systems is based in the United States. Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, or country. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, we ensure your data is transferred using valid legal mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

7. Security of Your Data

We implement robust administrative, technical, and physical security measures (including encryption in transit and at rest) to protect your data. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You use the Services at your own risk.

8. State-Specific and Regional Privacy Rights

8.1 European (GDPR) and UK Users

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time.

8.2 California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information (Note: Forion does not sell your personal information).
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your CCPA rights.

8.3 "Do Not Track" Signals

We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.

9. Children's Privacy

Orbit is intended for use by developers, businesses, and professionals. Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our platform.
